How is MustardHQ School different from other PM bootcamps like Enoverlab or Utiva?

MustardHQ School is run by a working product studio, Mustard Innovations & Technologies Ltd. Lectures are only the first part. After 12 weeks of classes you spend 8 weeks in a studio pod with our UI/UX designers and software engineers, building and shipping a live product. You finish with real Git commits, live user metrics, and a public case study.

Do I need a technical or coding background?

No. Product management is about understanding customers, solving problems, setting priorities, and leading a team. We start from the basics and teach the technical ideas you need, such as APIs, databases, and sprint estimation, in plain language.

When are the live classes, and how much time will it take?

Accepted Answer

Classes run on weekends so you can keep working or studying: Saturdays 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM WAT (frameworks and theory) and Sundays 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM WAT (hands-on studio clinic and labs). There are also optional mentor office hours on Wednesday evenings. Plan for about 8–10 hours a week in total.

What if I miss a live class because of work or a power cut?

Every live session is recorded in HD and posted to your Fellow Portal within 4 hours, along with the slides, Notion templates, and workshop notes. Mentors are on Slack during the week to answer questions.

How does the 8-week studio internship work?

Accepted Answer

After the 12 weeks of live classes, you join a pod: 1 PM fellow, 1 MustardHQ UI/UX designer, and 2 MustardHQ software engineers. With a Studio Lead overseeing the work, your pod takes a product from idea through wireframes, sprints, and code review to a live deployment on Vercel or similar cloud hosting, with real analytics.

Will I get a certificate?

Yes. When you complete the core deliverables, the sprint work, and your capstone presentation, you receive a verifiable MustardHQ School Fellowship Certificate with a unique credential ID and a portfolio endorsement from MustardHQ studio leads.

Can I pay in installments?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pay in full upfront for the early-bird price (₦225,000 / $225), or split it in two: ₦150,000 ($150) to secure your seat before classes start, and the remaining ₦125,000 ($125) by Week 5.

Do you help with finding a job?

Yes. Week 12 is the Career Launchpad: 1-on-1 resume reviews, LinkedIn updates aimed at remote roles, and mock product interviews with senior product leaders. We also recommend strong fellows directly to MustardHQ's studio clients.
