Taught by a working studio
Your mentors build digital products, brands, and systems for MustardHQ clients every week.
Advanced Product Management
Our flagship fellowship. You start with the core frameworks and finish by shipping a live product with MustardHQ's studio team.
Learn the craft, then ship a real product
This is not a video course. You write PRDs that engineers review, run live sprint ceremonies, set up analytics, test prototypes with real users, and put working software on the web.
Discovery and PRDs
Interview users without leading them, apply The Mom Test, and write PRDs teams can build from.
Sprints and AI prototyping
Run sprints in Jira or Linear and use AI tools to build a working prototype in hours.
8-week studio residency
Build with MustardHQ engineers and designers and launch to a live URL.
One program open now, three on the way
Advanced Product Management is taking applications now. Tracks in Technical PM, Growth, and AI for product teams open in future cohorts.
Advanced Product Management
Learn to lead product work end to end, then prove it by shipping a real product with our studio team.
Technical Product Management (TPM)
APIs, system architecture, databases, and cloud infrastructure, explained for product managers.
Growth Product Management
Product-led growth, AARRR funnels, retention loops, and running experiments that teach you something.
AI for Product Managers & Founders
Design products built on AI: working with LLMs, synthetic data, and agent-style user experiences.
Built by a studio, not a lecture hall
We built the school we wanted when we were starting out. It is run by people who ship products for clients, not full-time academics.
You ship a real product
Most programs end when the slides do. Ours ends with an 8-week residency where you work with our in-house engineers and designers to put a product into production.
AI is part of the job now
We teach the AI workflows PMs use today: drafting PRDs with LLMs, researching with synthetic personas, and building clickable prototypes in under 2 hours with v0 and Cursor.
No more than 25 fellows
No 200-person Zoom calls. With 25 fellows per cohort, mentors can review your PRDs line by line, run 1-on-1 mock interviews, and vouch for you when you apply for roles.
Proof you can show employers
You leave with a verified MustardHQ Fellowship Certificate and a live portfolio: real Git history, architecture docs, and production metrics.
What you will learn
A week-by-week plan that takes you from first principles to running a product team and tracking the numbers that matter.
Foundations of Product Management & Mental Models
What a product manager actually does, how the role differs from project managers and founders, and the mental models and product life cycle you will use for the rest of the program.

8 weeks building with our studio
Hiring managers have seen plenty of made-up case studies. In the residency you work with our engineering team to design, build, and launch a working app that real people use.
Join a pod and get your brief
You join a 4-person studio pod: you as the PM fellow, a MustardHQ lead UI/UX designer, and 2 full-stack engineers.
Write the PRD and plan sprints
You write the requirements, groom the backlog with your developers, and agree on a Definition of Done.
Build
Four weeks of sprints: daily Slack standups, reviewing pull requests, triaging bugs, and keeping scope in check.
Launch
Deploy to a live URL, onboard real users, and confirm your analytics work in Amplitude or PostHog.

Questions we get asked
Eligibility, schedule, curriculum, payment, and how the 8-week studio residency works.
How is MustardHQ School different from other PM bootcamps like Enoverlab or Utiva?
MustardHQ School is run by a working product studio, Mustard Innovations & Technologies Ltd. Lectures are only the first part. After 12 weeks of classes you spend 8 weeks in a studio pod with our UI/UX designers and software engineers, building and shipping a live product. You finish with real Git commits, live user metrics, and a public case study.
